I am a stay at home mom to a teenager who is going off to college next year. He is my "adopted" son. After he came to live with me two years ago...

I had to make some quick decisions on how to make money and create balance in our lives. Now I want to share my experiences and what I have learned with other women as well as continue to grow and learn.
My friends would describe me as an adventurous fun loving diva whose real first love is GOD. After HIM are books, travel and spa treatments! (Although I have not traveled nearly as much as I would like to!!!!)
And BTW....I am a great cook! An art lost among most women today. I eat organic..and since last December I have been a practicing Semi-Vegetarian. (I do fall off occasionally though! LOL!
However; I believe you can do anything you put your mind to..... "And we know that all things work together for them who love God" Romans 8:28
I AM SECRETLY A FAN OF....Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Covered Strawberries......And I am addicted to fitness and fashion magazines. I love Rollerblading, Shopping, Pilates, Reading Books and Writing.

I am a member of DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY INC. (A public service sorority)
I pledged Theta Beta Chapter ~ A Citywide Undergraduate Chapter in Pittsburgh. (Spring 91')
I also work with at risk teenage girls. My newest endeavor is setting up a non-profit organization...called JADE that benefits young women of color... and works to establish and sustain their sense of self awareness, self esteem, and their place in the global economy........ NINE YEARS AGO...I started an organization called LIT CLIQUE. It is made up of a group of wonderful professional women from all walks of life. We read and review books, attend cultural events, and fellowship as only women can......
I am excited to report that I have written two children's books.... due to be published this year!!! I am currently working on a third book..and hope to release them all together. I also have an adult fictional novel in the works as well. As a result I decided to start my own publishing company ~ Deltavogue Publishing.
